as if a forward isnt bad enough
Many of you know the extreme distaste I have for forwards and junk e-mails. perhaps its because I lived through the start of the technology era when computers became a real means of communication for the common man. Then of course a fiew of us began to send out the generic newsletters relating family things and goings on..congratulating ourselves on saving so much in postage. Now many people receive forwards full of blessings if its sent on to 10 more people you know, otherwise you'll receive bad luck. But the cream of the crop, the topper to the cake was a couple of days ago I experienced something even lower than a forward, while driving with an UN-named friend she received a txt message telling her to txt 10 other people with the same message to receive an angel of love. If an angel of love even existed (which it doesn't) I don't think you would be charged $2.20 to receive it anyway(standard txt rate $.20). unless you have ordered it from the back of readers digest, Only 4 easy payments.

night number two
it really hasnt been to bad,...it helps that the weather is improving. Her regular 10:30-11:00 nightmere still occured but after I put her to bed, she slept most of the night and woke up at 8.. We have been visiting the lybrary more frequently because of no movies and I have to say alot of new childrens books are written with so much propiganda- we read a fiew books on rainforests and had to skim past some of the comments (good thing they dont notice yet) I like to stick with the classics usually for this very reason. My goal is to read through most of the childrens section before summer is over. probubly a bit lofty for even me but its worth trying. today is a nice day. we will probubly spend most of it outside playing in the yard and hopfully improving it, my version of trimming plants often ends up in disaster but really, in a cupple of years who will notice, right!

Trying somthing new.....
latly at night the kids have been perticularly restless, espessially my girl. she like me has been daunted by nightmeres since before she was 2. Its gotten so bad that somtimes when I wake up at night to check on the kids or take somone to the bathroom she is allready awake telling me she is scared of going to sleep because she will have another bad dream. (she spends quite alot of her sleep in r.e.m.) I am not okay with giving her meds or herbs, so we are trying no movies. I cant say how long it will last....(movies are my favorite fall back).... but I hope it improves things. she has had trouble eating also. If you think of her at all, please pray for her and us too.
the long awaited humiliating photo....
do you remember the vote on most humiliating moment I did a month or two ago??? well here is the photo. all of those things did really happen,...(the things that were voted on) but this topped the cake.and if you were woundering, I did have the shoes dyed to match-and was more rounded in person not personality.
moving right along
happy birthday little boy
sadly no longer a babymy how life flys by you when it is enjoyable
on this perticular matter I am a sad woman. My baby isn't a baby anymore today. Its really herd to wave goodbye to a stage in life I really enjoyed. (except all those diapers of corce) Many mothers out there can relate, the precious moments in life are often the shortest, but still the best. I have many more exciting adventures ahaid of me to chronicle-the kind of adventures kids have.

suprisingly I discovered at least a hundred wild strawberry plants in my yard. this gave me the idea "instead of buying plants I could just use my own. I made three garden plots, obviously one for each kid, not so shure if the babys plot will survive the daily excavations its been getting.
this is one dissapointed princess. all she wanted was a handsome prince to come and save her, the princes were too buisy climbing the hill in the yard to accomidate her.
here is my new dress design,...I scabbed a pattern together with my own ideas and this is what came out.....recenty I have been toying with the idea of making a little girl dress for the winner of some sort of blog contest,..still deciding on how to work that out but If I do the winner will recieve a dress made to the size of thier daughter or friends daughter. Fun huh??!!Saturday, April 19, 2008
my blogspot searves to chronicle the life of my family and friends, so when I share things with you its from my life,...with that in mind please read on without feeling like im ranting about todays scociety, just relating daily events.
Today the kids and I went to mcdonalds and had our breckfast. I was out of coffee and had my usual night (about 5 hours strait) needs somthing warm and hearty to wake up from. Tea just dosnt give you that wholsome feeling (im agreeing with em) so since im a cheepskate we went to mcdonalds. The kids had a great time playing on the equiptment and munching thier canola oil hashbrowns. right before we left the little girl that was there with us ended up peeing all over the equiptment,..and we are talking PEE. the mom acted like she was going to tell managment and the dad left for a fiew moments so i assumed they said somthing...NOPE, I saw him comming out of the bathroom as we were leaving and he passed the manager right up. Not wanting other kids to have to discover lake urie in the (now ball free) ball pit I walked over and let the woman in charge know. I turned around to discover the lady, her husband and the peepitratior had left as fast as they could. I dont get it,...yes its embarrassing when you have to announce to everyone you kid relived themselves somwhere they shuldnt (aka fred myers for us) but to walk off and leave it?? gross out. makes you wounder about the rest of the play area.... eugh. good thing I am not to paranoid. can you see it. mom shows up with kids and a big bottle of bleach spray."dont get on the equiptment till I spray everything down!" ha ha after mcdonalds we drove to the store and then the lybrary, free movies :) the three had picked out what they wanted to watch and we were ready to go. my baby decided to play in the toys while the two made thier decision so I kindly asked daughter to help him pick up. she went over and with no complaint started helping him(somwhat suprising) when the fellow next to me said it was my job to pick up... I simply smiled at him and nodded thinking "Maby if I want to teach my kids how to only help themselves" compassion is a big deal in our household.
earlier somone told me I was a really good mom and now I am told I am not doing my job. ( I do help my kids pick things up when they ask, by the way) talk about interesting opinions :) everyone definatly has thier own view on everything. I do like to hear other peoples views on things even if they arnt the same as my own and they arnt intentionally being rude, lybrary man wasnt rude. everyone knows I am not the smartest person or the wisest and at times I talk way way too much...but I enjoy hearing about new ways to try things, different ideas ect. concerning lybrary guy-I think I have the ball when it comes to the siblings helping each other with a task- but thanks anyway. today is a really great day. how is yours??

she pulled the shot gun close to her as the desperately needed sleep closed in. It had been only 5 minutes before she was awakened by the evil tapping and scratching of her own personal haunt. A tear escaped her bloodshot eyes. If only her husband understood, if only he had just an ounce of empathy for this torture she faced each night. Slowly and quietly she inched her body up in the bed and waited, shotgun poised. Her husband was fast asleep at her side with no knowledge of what was about to unfold. she could hear it faintly now but knew instinctively what the noise was. The Thing had returned and was clawing its way through the attic. Now was her chance, she raised the shotgun and blew a hole in the ceiling the size of a dinner plate. When the smoke cleared all that was left of the creature was its little mousy head and a limb or two. She sighed, relief coming over her like a crashing wave on the shore. "no more mice"she said as she put the gun down and lost herself to a much needed rest. It was only after all was quiet that her husband finally woke, disturbed by the lack of night time noises.
Yes, I have a mouse or bat problem....it went away for the winter. I lied to myself, I thought it wouldn't return. That is the trouble with lies, they are never true!!! You probably all think I am crazy for daydreaming about eliminating this nuisance, but I'm a light sleeper by nature and so when the little monster and his family have a house party in my wall and attic I just want to take care of the problem right away-too bad you have to stick your head at eye level in order to place a mouse trap in the attic. ugh.*shiver* I hope you have a better solution,I am very willing to be enlightened by an idea that doesn't involve paying some one money to exterminate. for now you will find me with a pillow over my head thinking of a better place, perhaps a mouse free world!

I managed to get to the fabric store yesterday!!! I cant remember how long its been. Knitting has been taking up most of my time lately so the sewing projects have slowed down, all except the quilt I am finishing for my newest nephiew. While I was perusing the isle (and chasing the three) an idea poped into my head that middle needed somthing mama made him he -unlike daughter-grew out of his summer shirts I made him last year. I asked him to pick a fabric out and what did he choose but black with trains. the funny thing about the fabric is he chose basically the same thing for his last shirt! go figure, must not want to ruin a good thing. I finished it this morning. it took a bit of convincing that it wasnt persect (perfect) without buttons.

this weekend was a real blast! my very dear American friend from England came to visit me while she was here on holiday(actually she came to see family but holiday sounds more Brit) what a joy it is to have such a friendship. we only get to see each other every 2-4 ish years but each time we meet its like we haven't spent much time away. we talked and talked and watched our babies play and talked each others ears off. her mom was able to accompany her on her trip to see our family and was as nice as I remembered from lets see.......8 years ago. ha. nothing like being and adult. we had worked one summer at Trout Creek Bible Camp..where I apparently was quite the prankster (she must be thinking of a different counselor with the name Sweetart) her pirate impression could not be matched! she and her mother met my husband for the first time so now its just her husband meeting mine- then we have all met. I guess I will just have to return the favor and visit her in Great Britain. maby by then I can cough out some french dialog and sound authentic.

sleepy smiling
loving grandpa
favorite friends!
its so nice to have cuzins around the same age as us, even though at times I feel like my sister in law and i are standing in a sea of children soon to be engulfed by a wave full of tiny fingers, eyes, toes, and smiles tugging pulling and pleading for thier mommys individual attention. Yes, you can be loved to deth (In my opinion its the only way to go!)
now you all probubly think the logical choice would be the 1970s suit right? obviously from the pole the majority of you thought so! I am not really a rodent person, so the rat collection is definatly a no. I have allready recieved my family inheritance from my grandmother,..slightly toned down from genetic mixing, and no thank you to a boa. I like snakes when they live in the garden or are in a cage at the zoo, so if I inherited snuggles he would accidently get run over and turned into the lovliest handbag you have ever seen :) unfortunatly the thing about inheritances are you dont get to choose. somone else does for you. weather its from God (in the case of the nasle sculpting) or crazy distant relatives, someday you might inherit somthing interesting too.
